FAST FIXES FOR YOUR MOST ANNOYING FLOW PROBLEMS

Ø Why do I get Diarrhea? The same body chemicals trigger that trigger uterine contractions to help expel blood inadvertently cause your lower intestine to contract as well. The result: loose stools. Taking an anti-inflammatory painkiller at the first twinge of cramping stops the contractions.

Ø PMS makes me a crazy woman. What can I do? Just before your PMS week, give up caffeine (in coffee, tea, and soda) and sugary foods; studies show that this will stabilize mood swings. Hitting the gym also helps even out moodiness.

Ø How do I combat pre-period bloating? Exercising regularly can make you immune to bloating before your period, because you sweat out excess fluids during workout. Also, eat foods high in fiber to prevent constipation. Limit your caffeine consumption, since this causes excessive bloating in the intestin

Since children today opt to play with their gadgets rather than engage in active physical play, they have a tendency of gaining unwanted pounds because though their food consumption remains the same, it is never shed off since they do not do much physical activity. Hence, the best thing to prevent childhood obesity is to simply prevent our children from eating too much junk food and at the same time encourage them to go out and play rather than holing themselves up in their rooms where only their fingers get the much-needed exercise.

Be it in a swimming pool or in the sea or in a lake, swimming is a very healthy activity for the body. Swimming can be done by anyone at any age. It is a very good exercise as well. It helps in developing a strengthening your heart. Swimming can be practiced by anyone, irrespective of their weight.

Other physical exercises such as running, jogging, treadmills are at times not advised for people who are obese, as they tend to force a lot of weight on the knees. Swimming on the other hand is one common exercise that doctors prescribe to anyone who wants to reduce their weight and be fit. There are swimming pools that have the water temperature controlled. Thus enabling one to practice swimming at any part of the day at any time of the year irrespective of the weather.

The two main organs that benefit from swimming are heart and lungs. Swimming can also be used as a warm up session before strenuous exercise or games. By doing so, the heart is brought to beat at a higher rate thus preparing you for better physical activity.

But this line is actually true. I am not saying that you eat anything and you will loose weight. Obviously my point is towards right and healthy things. Here are some tips that you should follow and I am sure that in just two weeks you will start seeing positive results. Just have a look:

Do not ever wake up with tea or coffee. Your first thing of the day should be filled with good things not caffeine type things. Take fruits, or any fibrous thing as this gives a good boost to your metabolic rate.

Eat small portions of meal and divide your overall food intake in six parts. Do not ever ever ever overeat as the extra you eat is directly stored as fats.

Eat your main meal three hours before sleeping.

Exercise at least 3 hours a week

Representing over 5,000 years old of posing in seemingly impossible positions, yoga isn’t just fun to look at — it’s good for you, too.

Yoga can improve your flexibility, strength, and posture, and the breathing methods can actually increase lung capacity. The activity is also associated with better heart health (it reduces blood pressure and slows your heart rate), in addition to combating a number of different conditions, including asthma, back pain, and multiple sclerosis. Plus, yoga has been shown to boost concentration and instill a sense of calm.

And isn’t that worth standing on your head?

Varicose veins are painful, unsightly, and sometimes require surgical intervention. They are most common in women and frequently brought on by pregnancy, however genetics and lifestyle factors are also relevant.

Veins pump blood back to the heart, which means that leg veins are tasked with pumping blood upward, against gravity. Veins have natural leaflet valves to keep the blood moving in the right direction; in varicose veins, however, problems with the leaflets allow some of the blood to flow backwards, resulting in discomfort.

Let’s take a look at some of the lifestyle changes you can make to prevent varicose veins:

Sit and stand with care. To promote better circulation, maintain good posture and avoid crossing your legs when seated. Your circulation suffers when you sit or stand for a long time, so take frequent breaks to stretch your legs.

Invest in compression hose. Compression hose and socks are available both over-the-counter and by a doctor’s prescription. They apply pressure to the lower legs to help your veins pump blood upward toward the heart.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Easier said than done, we know, but keeping your weight down and activity level up have been shown to decrease your risk of developing varicose veins. Doctors recommend low-impact exercises like swimming, cycling, and walking.

There are plenty of reasons to have sex, but improving your health usually isn’t one of them. But scientists have found that getting it on can benefit your body in a number of ways.

So, what can sex do for you?

Sex reduces stress. Sex actually decreases your blood pressure, particularly in stressful situations like public speaking.

Sex improves immunity. People who have sex at least once a week have higher levels of the antibody immunoglobulin A, which helps prevents colds and other types of infection.

Sex works you out. Every 30 minutes you spend having sex adds up to at least 85 calories burned. And it’s more fun than the elliptical machine.

Sex boosts heart health. Men who have sex at least twice a week are half as likely to suffer a fatal heart attack than those other unfortunate souls.

Sex raises self esteem. Sex doesn’t just make you feel better; it makes you feel better about yourself.

That’s all for today — check out part two of this list tomorrow!
